Diplomats Ball History
In 1999, the IIE Rocky Mountain Regional Center launched its first Diplomats Ball, celebrating the growing global status of Denver and Colorado.  Honorees were the Consular Corps of Colorado as well as consular officials from throughout the U.S. for a total representation of more than 30 countries.  Subsequent Diplomats Balls have raised funds for general operations of the Regional Center as well as a study abroad scholarship named for the Consular Corps of Colorado.  Each year the Ball is attended by diplomats representing up to 35 countries.
